Hollywood Sweets is not to be confused with some chain ice cream shop. This is a friendly, casual, independent shop owned and operated by siblings Scott Wood and Holly Wood.

 

You get the name, right? Holly Wood owns Hollywood Sweets? And the decor definitely celebrates all things Hollywood.

Open seasonally from late spring through mid-autumn, the hours vary but are faithfully posted on the Hollywood Sweets Facebook page so you can know before you go.

 

Serving up amazing ice cream from Sedutto in Brooklyn, you won't find flavors quite like these anywhere else. If you'd like, Scott and Holly and their crew will let you have a taste test of a flavor before you commit, and they have plenty of toppings to suit your sweet tooth.

 

There's a separate dining area on the side of this quaint little shop, so you can sit, play board games, watch I Love Lucy or other vintage shows and movies, and enjoy a sweet, dreamy treat with friends and family.

 

Long a summer staple for Ridge residents—since 1992—Scott and Holly are proud to have been here long enough to be scooping sweet treats for their customers' children.
