Ridge Civic Association enjoys the support of a number of Ridge businesses, and we are deeply grateful to them. Supporting the good work we try to do for Ridge residents is a real testament to their belief in our community.

 

We have long encouraged people to shop locally! Ridge residents tell us that one thing they appreciate about our community is that the downtown area is not overdeveloped like in some other communities on Long Island. It's a quaint little strip of Route 25. Let's help keep it that way by supporting our friends' and neighbors' businesses.

For each of our business sponsors, here's what we offer:
 

1. Publication of a business card-sized ad in our monthly newsletter that is mailed to all dues-paying members.
    

2. A business sponsor profile on this website. These sponsor profiles are not intended to duplicate the business's current online presence but to highlight their personal story, their history in the community, their philosophy on the importance of community, and how and why they support the hamlet of Ridge.
    

3. Special collaborations with us to help promote their business and let residents of Ridge and local communities know about their civic pride. In 2023, these collaborations included working with Alfredo's on our first annual Earth Day Celebration and a very successful fall membership drive with Unique Tastes Wine & Liquor that resulted in a 60% increase in our membership! All collaborations are actively promoted on our social media channels. 

Business sponsors must either own a business in Ridge (even if they do not reside in Ridge) or, if they are a full-time resident of Ridge, own a business in the Longwood Central School District.
