Committees & Scholarship

Ridge Civic has several committees that may be of interest to members in addition to our most popular Events Committee. Local students are encouraged to volunteer for our events to earn community service hours; scroll down to learn more.

Ridge Civic Association members are most welcome to join any of our current committees! Simply contact our President Scott Wood (ridgecivic@gmail.com) or swing by one of our upcoming membership meetings.

You can also scroll down to learn more about our two annual $500 scholarships.

Phil Reany Jr. Memorial Scholarship

Each year, Ridge Civic awards two graduating Ridge seniors with a $500 scholarship. Students who are graduating from public school, private school, or homeschooling and who are planning to attend college or a vocational or trade school will be chosen based on their community service history.

Applications are due each year on May 15.

We strongly encourage local middle school and high school students to participate in our annual events to help log community service hours, but any community service qualifies you for application. Suggestions are below.

Ways to Earn Community Service Hours

  • April — Meet the Easter Bunny & Easter Egg Hunt (Ridge Community Park)
