The Hamlet of Ridge

ridge-CDP-map.jpg

Ridge is a hamlet of about 13 square miles in the northeast corner of the Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County, Long Island, NY.

Middle Country Road (NY Route 25) forms the main downtown area of Ridge. Boundaries of our hamlet are, generally, Longwood Road to the south, Wading River Hollow Road to the west, Sound Avenue to the north, and just past Lake Panamoka to the east. County and state parklands and forests are bountiful in Ridge.

As of the 2020 Census, Ridge has 13,271 residents and a little over 5,700 households. Learn more stats about Ridge on this U.S. Census page.

Ridge offers quick access to all of Long Island’s attractions and amenities but retains a small town, country feel. This quiet country vibe is what helps our community thrive.
